The referral form is used to conduct a preliminary assessment of whether a survivor may be eligible for Criminal Injuries Compensation or Civil Compensation or Employment Compensation and whether their circumstances fall within the scope of support provided by the Survivors’ Compensation Advocacy Project (SCAP).

The form collects limited personal and case-related information to enable the referring organisation to determine whether a referral to SCAP is appropriate and proportionate.

Information provided is used solely for referral assessment and, where a referral proceeds, to support the safe and effective transfer of the case in accordance with SCAP’s data protection and safeguarding policies.
